One of the reasons I became a professional pet groomer is my love of and fascination with poodles. Over the last few years, I'd been noticing how few new poodles were coming my way for grooming. I was seeing many new, bichon's, maltese's, and shihtzu's instead. I couldn't imagine why poodles would ever fall out of favor as a companion animal. They are extremely intelligent, playful, loyal, and when groomed regularly, won't shed everywhere. I decided to investigate, it turns out that the poodle breeders in this area had either retired or passed away.
In the fall of 2005, I started searching for poodles to start my own line. In early January 2006, I came across a beautiful black toy male with excellent bloodlines (see pedigree). He was a finished champion and was available to the right party. He had the qualities I was most looking for : beautiful square build, elegant movement, ultra-plush coat, beautiful face, and excellent temperament. His background includes: whites and silvers which I hope to develop in addition to the gorgeous black.
I purchased him in January 2006, he flew from Utah to Syracuse, N.Y. (the closest main airport). We fell in love with him instantly. Blitzy is available for stud work, fees are available upon request.

MEET BLITZY
MEET PHOEBE
So far, Phoebe has competed in five shows. The first three she came in third.
The next she came in second, and her last show to date, she came in first place.
She is home for the holidays, getting reacquainted with her siblings and just having fun.
We are so proud of our baby girl.
Introducing our newest girl, Rainbow's Phoebe Mink, She comes to us from Connie Halcom of
Rainbow's Toy Poodles complete with an impressive pedigree, beautiful face,
plush coat ( at this tender age ), tight little feet and a bright, curious,
fun-loving personality. We look forward to a successful show career
for our new gal. Wow !!! We can't wait to get started !!!
MEET GALA
Our newest addition to the Mink Poodles Family is Custom's Main Event for Mink,
or as we call her: Gala.
In addition to being beautiful and smart; Gala has an impeccable pedigree which includes,
Melmar, Ted-El, Hells-A-Blazen to name just a few. She is currently undergoing preparation
and training with her breeder, Martha Talley of Custom Poodles, for a promising show career.
MEET DAMON
Mink Poodles is proud to add Ch Arja Camara D'Man At Dubl'nn to our fold.
Damon comes to us from Brenda King of Darlen's Toy Poodles. He is bright white in color, has wonderful carriage,
nice length of neck, sweet disposition, and a gorgeous face! He is Optigen A with sound patellas.
He is proven and available for stud. Watch for his offspring in 2008.

MEET SASSY PANTS
She comes to us from Martha Talley's Custom Poodles and James & Kim Ingle's JK's Poodles .
Sassy will spend the next several months getting acquainted with her new family before embarking on her show career.
